Looking for Jobs?

Hey, I have just left education at the age of Eighteen and now need to find a job.......My parents really are pressuring me to find a job....In truth the actual work is not so frightening...As the fact I have never had a job before and find the whole task ahead daunting. I was thinking of going around my City Centre and implying instore for jobs......Exactly how should I do this? In I mean should I just go instore and ask if the retail outlet has any vacancies??? (After this) ... What is going to be the next step? Are they going to ask me to fill out an application form there and then?





If so as I have not previously worked it will ask me to provide the details of two of my school teachers ... Well I don't have this information.....Is this relevant?





Also when I am asking in store if there are vacancies surely I need to look approachable nut not in a shirt etc?





Please, Please this is getting me so upset

I can't believe your 18 and have never had a job. I worked at an Ice cream parlor when I was 14 then I worked at Spencer gifts from when I was 15 until I was 17. I even had a second job at the local Toyota dealership my senior year of High School. Then I went to college and graduated when I was 20 and have been working for IBM ever since. You should really be more on the ball.
