I'm gonna be jobsearching when I turn 18 in a couple of weeks so I can (hopefully) earn enough money to go to college, which comes next year... I have gotten how to write a resume down, but what kind of jobs I have a couple experiences but not so much accredited jobs...
I have experience working with kids from last summer when I got a job as an educational aid for summer school through my school district, I know I'll put that down...
my jobs that I'm not sure if I can include is petsitting my cousin's puppy when she goes out of state which is quite often and being a teacher's assistant where I go copy papers and correct tests and other teacher stuff, but that's a class so maybe I shouldn't count that...
If it helps, jobs that I am seeking are mainly in pet stores like PetSmart and Pet Extreme...
What kind of jobs are ok to put on a resume?
You should think about writing a functional resume which will focus on the skills you have acquired in your jobs. If you have experience pet sitting, then you have pet grooming experience, pet maintenance (walking etc), pet training...
Grading tests shows that you have been delegated key responsibilities that have given you experience in time management, prioritizing work...
A future employer will just want to see that you are self-motivated and a hard worker. Everything you listed above is a good indication that you are- include it all.
View this site if you would like to see an example functional resume. http://www.finding-the-perfect-job.com/F...
Good luck!
