Jobs for a 12/13 year old?

i need a job so i can earn my own money. i asked someone for a job and they declined. are they're any jobs for a preteen. i can clean pretty well, and babysitting... no one has young babies in my neighborhood. gardening/mowing... everyone has gardeneres. and the paper boy job does not fit because adults are hired to do that. i was reading about having a blog and googles adsense program. has anyone had experience withit? how was it. do u hav to pay?

I have exactly the same problem!! so what I tried was pet minding and dog walking I walk 3 dogs a day for half an hour each day and get $5 from each person EVERYDAY!! it's great I earn around $105 a week plus when these people go on holidays they ask you to look after their pets!! so thats a bit more cash to pocket! not only that but what I did was asked my Mums friends and stuff if they needed pets minded or something and alot of them often do!! once my Mums friend gave me $60 plus a couple of small gifts to feed her cat 4 times thats it!! easy money!! anyways I hope I've been able to help you=]...GOOD LUCK

Reply:Well since u said babysitting and yard work are out, why don't you try going around to some small businesses or locally owned restaurants, and ask if you can help them with ANYTHING.. Maybe they'll need someone to take out trash, or sweep the parking lot, or something like that. Most businesses probably will not hire you as an official employee because of child labor laws, but they might give you 5 or 10 bucks here and there to help them with odd jobs.


Also maybe offer to pet sit or walk dogs? Lots of people have dogs...
Reply:Go ask your neighbors if they need any yard work done. Also offer to shovel their driveways during the winter seasons.





Also, the google adsense program will only work if your website gets a high volume of traffic. unfortunately thats hard to do -- I have a website with 2000 + members and I make about $100 a month.





I recommend you go for the manual labor; do it for old people , too, they're more likely to hire you :D
Reply:im around that age. and i was a mothers helper. i made loads of money. she had 2 children between 1 and 7 and they were wild! she even gave me a bonus because i was such help! maybe this will help?
