Air force jobs?
SF will be easy to get, if your asvab score is good enough.

Thts one of the jobs, that if you fail Tech School, you get sent to.

Combat Control and SERE are under manned,

But thats because they are so selective and so many people fail training.

For both, you will have to pass a Physical selection test, before being selected. Basicly just like the physical selection test to be a navy seal.

Both have a high drop out rate.

Combat Control has around a 80% drop out rate.

SERE has a high drop out rate, but they are very selective on who they let in.

They will want a face to face interview during basic.

You have to be mature to be SERE, since your training people.

Your gonna have to wait, for any job, no matter what it is.

They schedule you to go to basic, so you graduate, right before your Tech School starts.

Some jobs only have 5 or 6 class's a year start.

Some like Combat Control or SERE, might only have two class's a year start.

I know SERE class's only start in Janurary or July.
Reply:jeeper's answer is pretty accurate

If you score high on the ASVAB then you will have more choices. MEPS will tell you what's available for the date that you would like to ship out.
Reply:Most jobs in the Air Force (non flying) are in support of the people and equipment that do the job needed. Cooks, typists, computer types, mechanics, payroll clerks....ect. Air Force combat and war is carried out by aircraft at a distance. Any special ops are few and far between.

You want to be a spook, join the Army or Marines where eyeball to eyeball combat is the norm.
