Jobs that nobody else wants, huh?

I've several email reply's refering to the question I posed(illegal's only take the jobs nobody want's, so the job's just came out of no where then?) I live in AZ and let me tell you something, we have no farms out here. I'm tired of hearing that excuse. They are taking our construction job's, maintance job's, working at spanish speaking only stores out here!!!! Even the chinese and japanese spoke some english!!!!

The unemployment rate in this country is a whopping 4%. Anyone who is even slightly motivated can get a job. YES- they do fill jobs that no one else will do, and they are a necessary part of our strong economy.

Reply:They are taking both jobs and money away from Americans. These so-called "jobs that American's won't do" arguements are garbage. America's unemployment rate is around 4% and according to some estimates, illegals make up about 4% of the population. Get rid of the illegals and unemployment would be nonexistent. The problem with these jobs that illegals are taking is that while and American can not be employed for under minimum wage (approx. $70/day) illegals take these jobs for $50 or even $25 a day. If these jobs payed a decent wage you can bet Americans would do them. Illegals also effect wage scales in entire industries by lowering the rate legitimate workers can make.

Reply:No the jobs didn't come from nowhere but I think some (not all) Americans believe they are too good to be working those jobs, they think they deserve something better, a job is a job! So they're excuse is "They're taking all our jobs!" Gimme a break! I agree anyone who is motivated can get a job!
