i really need help, my older step brother from my dads side is 21 with severe cronic asthma he has been living with my mom because our dad died and his mom is a crackhead (not to be meen). he has been trying to get a job since he was 16 and has only got one since then but it was under the table. he has tryed to get ssi but they denied him, but i know he has it severe because he is constantly weezing and cannot wake up in the morning. but anyways i am very woried about him because my mom says it is time for him to get a job and move out, and that if he dosent get a job she will kick him out. she treats him like her real son because that is what she did with my other brother.
but my question is dose anyone know of any jobs or suggestions... he has been convicted of a felony and i think that is why they do not hire him. he also is trying to finish high school but still at a 9th grade level. we are in northern california
Jobs that are Always Hiring?
convicted of falony is something that people will forgive sooner or later, but a chronic asthama is what I believe keeping him from a job. With as little education and history of felony, the only options available are labour. But chronic asthama and labour usually do not go hand in hand.
your mother should consider this problem (and she might be already doing so) and give hime sometime to finish school. In the meanwhile ask your brother to keep looking for odd jobs to keep him busy on and off. This will have the mother satisfied and the jobs will not be too much of a burden for him.
Reply:i would hire him but we r in different countries i have always struggled with finding work cause they under estimate my abilities since then i have owned 3 businesses since then and now in the position to take on other unfortunate souls. Sorry i feel for the boy.
Reply:a job to be a couch potato at home... haha. -__-lil
Reply:Restaurants are almost always hiring.
Reply:He should be an apple picker, or a pan handler.
