Two part questions. How come jobs based on contracts agreements for example sports, radio, tv etc always have major money that comes with it but when jobs based on Hourely wages get crap? What kind of jobs besides the one I just listed have contract based? Im tired of working hourly wages.
Jobs based on Contracts compared to Jobs based Hourly/Salary?
I am an independent contractor in construction (concrete).
It pays alright, but the work is hard.
There are other contract jobs, even teachers, where I live have contracts to sign. It's basically a salary though. Not like athletes, or t.v. talent as was fore-mentioned.
Pro atheletes sign huge contracts and require an agent. With agents, comes more money opportunities.
But, if you havn't been to college, or know a specific trade, i suggest you go to school or learn a trade. It helps to get off of that hourly wage.
