Jobs if you never had work experience how are you suppose to get it?

you know when you job search the neighborhood you see experience cook how do you get experience as a cook when you cant get a job as a cook it crazy its frustrating I was always told growing up there's a first for everything The egg came before the chicken I live in Buffalo NY too not a good place when it comes to job searching they lack. no work experience except temp jobs for light industrial. it sucks.

you might have to apply for another job at the same place then work your way up. for example i had to start out as a dishwasher because i had no experience after a couple of weeks i told them i wanted to cook and they said yes
Reply:Check for opportunities to do volunteer work. Any work you do as a volunteer can go on your resume just like a paying job.
