Well, im 15 (16 in sept) and im trying to find a good job that can pay for possibly a car by the end of this summer. Im not sure where to look for a job that can pay that much or know any of the specifics. Im good with computers and a bright teen but I just dont know where to apply this to any jobs that will get me money. Whats the best form for jobs and the best pay, any advice will suffice. =)
Jobs for Teenagers?
I don't know where you live, but I know that a lot of states require work permits for people under the age of 16. If you've never had a job before, you may want to look into whether you need a permit. Look at what's available in your area, but I have to say that you may have difficulty finding a job that pays the kind of money you're looking for, especially because you're so young (not that this means you wouldn't do a good job, just that most employers are looking for more experience).
Not knowing where you live or what you're interested in, some good places to look would be movie theaters, clothing stores, grocery stores, large-chain bookstores, food service places like Starbucks or McDonalds, or if those places aren't for you, try working at a local bank or retail store. Smaller venues are more likely to give you flexible hours, and if you can find a place where a relative or a friend works, you might have an easier time getting the job or receiving higher pay. You'll probably have trouble finding a job involving computers unless it's just an input job (filling out forms, sending out emails, etc.) or your computer skills are incredibly advanced. Whatever you do, make sure you mention all the skills you have and what you're most comfortable doing, as this will give you the best opportunity to find a job that you'll be happy with.

Reply:hello! i had the same problem when I was your age(im 19 now.) Do you like kids? Dogs? if you like kids you could put out flyers saying that you love children and you would love to babysit them. if you like dogs then put out flyers saying that you would love to walk their dogs. charge around 7 dollars per child an hour for the babysitting. and maybe like 10 dollars an hour per dog! good luck dear! these jobs will keep you busy until september when you turn 16 and are able to able to get a job at a fast food place or a grocery store. Good luck ! =] email me if you have anymore questions!

Reply:Coffee shops are awesome places to work for... you get paid and you get tips. The drinks are easy to learn and you get to meet a lot of people. Starbucks pays pretty well.
Also... I don't know if you have one in your area but... In N' Out burger pays really well. Here in Cali, You start out making $10.00 and hour.
Good Luck!
