What's the dirtiest job you've ever had? What kinds of dirty jobs have you heard of?

I love that show "Dirty Jobs" with Mike Rowe. I was trying to think of the dirtiest job I've ever had, and I have to admit . . . my jobs have all been clinically clean compared to what he does.





How about you? What is the dirtiest job you've ever had? And what are some dirty jobs that you've seen or heard of?

Dirtiest job I've ever seen: The sewage delivery guy. No, you didn't misread...DELIVERY.





I worked on a sparsely manned Air Force communications site, separated from the main base. It used to have more folks, but technological improvements meant less need for personnel.





We didn't produce enough sewage to feed the enzymes in the sewage tank. That's right, we didn't poop enough to keep the enzymes alive.





Our main base would send us weekly deliveries of sewage, in a tanker truck...and pump them into our sewage tank.





Many veterans will tell you that their higher headquarters gave them poop on a regular basis. As far as I know, ours was the only one to send it in a special tanker.

Reply:When I was like 15 I dug graves at the cemetary. It wasn't that bad- I wasn't touching dead people or putting coffins in, just basically shoveling- but I did get dirt all over me and sweat like crazy and people thought I was kinda weird. It payed good, though, $12/hr.
Reply:I worked in a car paint shop for dodge for a total of 3 hours. We had to clean the paint off the walls and crap, the chemicals they used caused me to get sick. I lasted 3 hours and never got paid for the work.
Reply:im a 23 year old female machine operator. i make atv parts on a vertical mill and a mazak lathe.. i work in a shop full of old greasy men. i work with coolent and oil everyday. wierd but i like my job.

When both of my kids were ill with the rotovirus it was coming out both ends.





one week of cleaning up puke, diarrhea, and everything else that a human being under 4ft high can emit
