WORK. My job doesnt pay enough. Do you have TWO jobs? How do you do it?

I'm an operations representative for a major US bank but it still barely pays my bills. I dont have cable, no cell phone, I dont shop, just have enough for groceries...I'm so broke. I'm thinking about getting a second job but it seems so exhausting/tiring. Does anyone out there have TWO jobs? A full-time AND part-time job? Or TWO full-time jobs? How do you do it? Give me advice.

Never do the two full time job thing done that and it sucks no time for anything unless you do it for a short time. Best to open options to anything and get as second part time over night job, some of the overnight places do a 3 day 12 hour shift thing, try to do overnight stock or Cashere at Wal mart it's so easy I've done it. In fact any over night job as a cashere is easy as long as you can stay up. Also try going with a temp agency or one of those go when you can jobs, what you call on call, my friend did a sercurity job that called you and you could take the job when you wanted to so work when ever you felt like it, he got to see all the OSU games for free.


The thing to remember for takeing two job is if you have a full time 5 day a week job try and work your off days and stay away from 2nd shift , I used to work as a temp at the zoo from 6 am tell 2 and day 4 to 12 at my full time job and I made sure I only had a long day 3 days of the week and when the season was over I had extra cash. I wasn't able to do two jobs for very long because it doesn't let you do a whole lot. A friend of mine got lucky she works 3 days a week overnight 12 hour shifts and 2 to 3 days in the mornings talk about good. You have good experience try using that to work for a higher paying job. Some rep potions pay 35 to 50 a year in government jobs
Reply:My niece has a full time job as a payroll clerk, she makes good money, but not enough to maintain her lifestyle, so she does waitress work 3 nights a week at an upscale restaurant and averages $250 in tips. So she earns an extra $1000 a month. She has every Sun off plus 3 other nights free, so it is not that big of a hardship on her. U could do the same as many, many people have second part time jobs with no ill effects. Just get motivated.
Reply:Be organized. I worked 2 full time jobs for nearly 2 years. You sleep when you have time. Schedule everything for when you have a day off. Schedule both jobs to have the same day off. Take your clothes to the cleaners, most have services where they will wash your clothes for you. Take vacations.
Reply:Most employers give the least amount of pay and many are dead end even though they say there is a future. Most job promotions usually go to favorites and this is a common practice that people rarely know about the business world and students are never told otherwise there would be a revolution and most would try to be business owners.





I recommend that you budget your expenses and buy only what you need.
