I have friends who always gets a job. When he starts for 1 day or 3 day. He found out that he really don't like the job. How would quitting many jobs affect his record with other jobs when he apply to any? He is a type of person who is not a people person. He rather sit behind computer 20, 24 hours a day than speak to anyone. He has had jobs in cashier at walmart/a convience store, and custodian in school house and another i can't remember. But, all of them deals with working around people. what should he do with his life? he not to good in computer he just fascinated with being behind one. I would say he more of a shy person who rather talk to a computer than to a person. He does have a high school diploma and went to college 1 half semester and didn't finished. I understand he is young, 21 to be exact. Should still look for job he don't like and try it out and see if he don't like or what not? Or should he stop? Because, he doesn't wants to go back and get a degree. affect him how?
What kind of job do you see this person in? Who have quit so many jobs?
Tell your friend that he will have a hard to finding work, good work, bc employers can pull your history and see where u have worked,,,,even just a day....so that looks bad....but he should def go get his degree and geta job he wants while he is still young bc one day it could be too late and he gets stuck at these jobs he hates
Reply:If he can't function around people, getting a degree isn't going to help. It will just give him an excuse to avoid facing his issues for a few more years. If he hates people, maybe he could work for the forest service. I understand that they have jobs where you are out in a little fire watch tower for 90 days at a time. You get food/mail drops, but no human contact. I'm serious. I'm sure there are other jobs w/ the forest service or national parks that are in isolated areas. If he is hellbent on being antisocial, that might make him happy. I'm sure some require a degree, but not all.
