Changing jobs- is it to risky?

although i dont really like my job, the people are really really cool and nice, my manager and other bosses love me and well i am very good at the job (even though i dont like it) i get paid very well and get a lot of benefits, my only problem is it isnt what i want to do in life, i always imagined myself in fashion (way off from what i do now) i dont want to be a designer or work ina shop but i have seen some recent jobs advertised for a buyer position.

Am i being to risky though, i am taking a huge paycut if i go for this job (and if i get it) plus i will lost out on my benefits, and i cant go back to my current job (company poilcy) therefore do i stay where i am now knowing i am safe in what i am doing but just not enjoy it, or do i take a risk and hope for the best!

i know only i can answer this but there is no harm in asking is there

Changing jobs- is it to risky?
If you don't enjoy what you do...take the risk! Life is all about the journey and if you are scared to take that step you will never know what life has in store for you. Take a chance
Reply:my ex was a buyer in fashion, if you dont live in la or ny,you will not make anything....she moved to boston, she makes 65 thousand, half goes to the rent..
